I am a regular American that is sick and tired of seeing American troops fight and die in wars over oil.
American politicians are focused on preserving the status quo with big business and foreign nations — and not on doing what is right — ending our dependence on foreign oil.
We’ll never be safe until we don’t depend on getting our energy from dictators like Chavez around the globe.
Does that make me a liberal? No…A conservative..I don’t know…
I am pro-American, anti-terrorist and anti-dictator.
We must end this war. And we can’t do that unless we completely unhinge our country from foreign oil. The more we are tied to foreign oil, the more unstable we will all be. Simply put, we will not be safe if we are forced for purchase our energy from dictators and nations that support terrorism around the globe.
American politicians of both parties need to gain the courage to confront this issue — this is the defining issue of our times.
And failing on it is not an option for our nation.
