A Letter From Jim Schwertner…
August 4, 2008 | Filed Under Uncategorized |
Check out this letter I got my hands on from Jim Schwertner that he sent out to other cattle producers..
It appears that Jim is a very large cattle feeder in Texas.
It also appears that he is pretty darn friendly with Rick “Pilgrims Pride” Perry — the governor of Texas that is doing everything in his power to help foreign dictators, keep us fighting wars in the middle east and destroy renewable energy.
Anyways…I got my hands on a letter that old Jim sent out to fellow cattle producers.
Take a look:
Governor Rick Perry of Texas wants to help us. So let’s help him!
Governor Perry last Friday asked the Administrator of the EPA to waive by 50% the Renewable Fuel Standards on ethanol derived from grain. He understands we are all facing a crisis due to the high cost of feed. He knows that if something is not done soon, the price of food will skyrocket and hurt American consumers.
If this waiver is granted, speculation on corn should go down, and we will see more normal prices on corn.
If you agree with Governor Perry, print out the attached letter that Governor Perry sent to the EPA. Then fax the letter back to me with your business card and signature on the bottom of Governor Perry’s letter. I will then give them all to him, showing our support and thanks. Please send fax to 512-474-0120. To view Governor Perry’s letter to the EPA, click here.
We are also taking out a newspaper ad in which we will thank him for his support. If you would like your name to be listed, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Jim Schwertner

A Few Questions For Jim:
1.) How much money have you given to Rick “Pilgrims Pride” Perry or an affiliated group?
2.) How well do you know Bo Pilgrim and the executives at Pilgrims Pride?
3.) How much money and effort are you expending to destroy renewable fuels and to keep the United States hinged to foreign oil?
I think Joe shall investigate…
