Iranians to dig 320k graves for enemy soldiers

atomic iran

In preparation for possible invasion or war, Iran announced that they would begin digging graves to bury thousands of dead foreign soldiers.

In a story reported on Breitbart, General Mir-Faisal Bagherzadeh made the comments about Iranian war preparation.

So, here we are — dependent on this area of the world for our energy — dependent on people that want to kill us.

What scares you more — the fact that thousands of Americans will die in order to keep our addiction to their oil or the fact that that crazy Iranian dictator is very close to having nuclear warheads?

Both should.

Both should scare the hell out of you.

Bo Pilgrim

I have been wondering why Rick Perry, the governor of Texas is so opposed to renewable energy.

You will remember this is the same guy that has been out there advocating the the federal government suspend the Renewable Fuels Standard. Apparently he sees value in being even MORE dependent on foreign oil!

If a guy can not see the value of domestic energy during a time that there is $142/barrel oil and skyrocketing costs, when will he ever?

Well, it made sense to me when I read this story from the Associated Press.  The following quote stuck out to me:

“Lonnie “Bo” Pilgrim, CEO of chicken producer Pilgrim’s Pride Corp., told the EPA his company bought more than 320 million bushels of corn and the about 133 million bushels of soybeans for soybean meal last year, about 5.2 percent of the nation’s corn used for animal feed and 7.2 percent of the soybean meal that is produced.

Pilgrim is a top donor to Perry. Pilgrim contributed $216,500 to Perry’s campaign from 2004-2007, according to Texans for Public Justice.”

Rick “Pilgrims Pride” Perry doing some lobby work for his good friend Lonnie “Bo” Pilgrim.

Makes a person wonder…

How often does Pilgrims Pride Perry and Bo Pilgrim talk?

Have they ever talked about the RFS waiver?

Did Bo Pilgrim ask Pilgrims Pride Perry to advocate for the end of renewable fuels?

Sure would be interesting to see Pilgrims Pride Perry’s schedule, emails or phone records.

Might be interesting what they show…

Dictators and Terrorists Get Rich, Our Economy Suffers

Saudi kiss

On news that oil has reached an all-time record high of over $142 per barrel, the stock market crashed in a big way.

So long as the American government goes out of its way to embrace crude and not get serious about alternative energy and renewables, we will always be at the behest of dictators and terrorists.

Wouldn’t it be nice to buy our energy from American farmers and not dictators like Chavez?

Wouldn’t it be more desirable to capture our energy from the sun or the wind, and not depend on state sponsors of terrorism like Libya?

Honest to God, these people want to kill us. They hate freedom. And our nation is so damn dependent on them that we end up fighting wars that we otherwise wouldn’t fight.

And our dependence on oil puts money in their pockets that they use to buy weapons and explosives that are used to destabablize democratic forms of government around the globe.

It’s time to STOP entertaining princes at Camp David and time to put up more windmills, fund solar research and embrace other bio forms of energy and get smart about nuclear power.

The pricetag for all the investments that need to be made in domestic energy production pales in comparison to the investment we have made in protecting oil and propping up dictators and terrorists.

$7 Gas in 2 Years

gas prices logo

CIBC released a new study today that predicts gas prices will hit $7/gallon by 2010.

On the one hand that seems high — on the other hand — that is totally believable. Almost surprising it is not higher.

So long as we have politicians in Washington that do nothing to fix this — it should not come as a surprise.

My god — this is a time of record high oil prices — record high gas prices — skyrocketing energy costs — and they do NOTHING to lower prices — they do NOTHING to unhinge us from having our energy supply controlled by nations that hate freedom.

When will we learn?

Dictators Love Oil

June 16, 2008 | Filed Under Dictators, Venezuela, chavez | No Comments

Chavez

What would the world think of brutal dictator Hugo Chavez if Venezuala did not have vast oil reserves?

Would the world even know who he is — or would he even be the leader of Venezuela?

Who knows — those profits from oil that his country sells abroad makes him relevent and gives him the $$$ necessary to harm the U.S. and world economy.

Check out this latest piece from the New Yorker which talks about Chavez’s designs on fighting and harming America…

Read more here: http://www.newyorker.com/reporting/2008/06/23/080623fa_fact_anderson/

The New Yorker pegs him as the heir to Castro.

Wrong.

This guy is not just a brutal dictator that despises freedom and liberty and will brutalize the citizens of his own country.

He also hates America and everything this country stands for.

When will American politicians wake up and realize that this country will end in ruin unless we develop our own stable, domestic energy supply?

More Bloody Oil Coming Our Way

More oil

King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia has announced to the world that his country will begin pumping an additional half-a-million barrels of oil a day within a few weeks.

When will American politicians wake up and realize we CAN’T be dependent on monarchs and dictators for our nations energy supply?

You would think if you were running for president in this country you might owe the American people an explanation of what you will do to ensure we don’t need to keep begging dictators and people that help fund terrorism for more oil…

Does Rick Perry like Dictators?

June 9, 2008 | Filed Under Dictators, Oil, Rick Perry | No Comments

Rick Perry

I have been trying to figure out what has gotten into Rick Perry — the Governor of the great state of Texas.  He has asked the EPA to cut the current renewable fuels standard by 50 percent.  He says this will help with rising food prices.

Governor, just a few questions for you:

Have you noticed that oil is now at $137 a barrel?

Have you noticed that gasonline prices in your state are now over $4 per gallon?

How much are food prices up in your state this year?

Of course, this isn’t about the price of a twinkie in Dallas at all. For Gov. Perry its about political heavy hitters that pull the strings in Texas and fund campaigns.  This is all about huge Texas cattlefeeders and other folks down in Texas and Arkansas that like to feed chickens cheap corn. Now, that corn is not so cheap.

A few years ago when corn for those same cattle and chicken was only a couple bucks — that was good for them. But — not so good for the American taxpayer. See, the American taxpayer would PAY THE FARMER and create an indirect subsidy to those people feeding millions of chickens, cattle, etc. How much did people like that benefit? Oh, they probably bought corn for their millions of chickens and cattle for a few BILLION less.  Good business if you can get it.

So, then, the question is — why does Rick Perry like dictators? Seems harsh, I know. But the simple fact remains that Rick Perry is doing everything he can to tear down America’s renewable and alternative fuels industries. Who benefits from that — dictators and terrorists.

I know, I know..you are wondering about the actual science or economics of what Gov. Perry has said. Well, they are bunk too. Or at least, that is what Texas A&M said about his assertions in a recently published study.

A group called the Agriculture and Food Policy Center, located at Texas A&M University published a report called “The Effects of Ethanol on Texas Food and Feed”. This is great reading — would be great reading for Gov. Perry as well since it directly refutes his claims about renewable energy’s impact on food prices.

Interestingly, economic experts at Texas A&M (as well as many other places) cite the costs of gasoline and diesel fuel instead of ethanol production as the main reason for financial hardships in Texas agriculture.

Hmmm…so what does that mean? Other than it meaning that Gov. Perry is dead wrong — it also means that his ideas to cut renewable fuels use in America only benefits those that supply the energy that will be used if renewables are not.

Oh yeah, that foreign oil stuff….that stuff that comes from dictators..that stuff whose profits are used to support terrorism.

Good one, Governor. Read more

No More Blood for Oil

June 6, 2008 | Filed Under Dictators, Iran, Iraq, National Security, Oil, Venezuela | 1 Comment

I am sick and tired of America fighting wars that we spill blood over…continually…all in the name and sake of oil.

Regardless of what you may think about the current war in Iraq or entanglements we are involved in around the world…there is little anyone can argue intelectually to refute that we ARE entangled in those areas because of oil.

The United States of America should not be beholden to dictators and terrorists for our energy supply…

And no longer should America’s youth spill their blood to make those terrorists and dictators are more rich…

It leads one to ask WHAT can be done to stop this?

And WHO stands for doing what is right — and WHO stands for what is wrong.

And WHY do those people, corporations, or nations stand in the way of ending our thirst for foreign oil that enriches dictators and funds terrorism that kills innocent people around the world…

This blog will be dedicated to answering those questions…

Stay tuned…you may be shocked what we find out together…
